Scot performed with original cast members of “Beatlemania”, the Tony Award winning Broadway show. After the show closed in 1982, he formed, produced and performed in his own presentation, "Beatlemania Now"... a tribute to the 60's and the group that shaped them ... the Beatles ... a reprise of "Beatlemania", which he continues to this day.
"Beatlemania Now" has performed throughout Cities in the United States and in countries as far away as Russia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Panama, Curacao, Mexico and Spain, and shared stages with Artists such as Billy Joel, Cheap Trick, America, Wilson Pickett, Cinderella, The Hooters, Felix Cavalieri of the Rascals, Blood Sweat and Tears, Mitch Ryder of the Detroit Wheels and The Rip Chords ... just to name a few.
In 2014 Scot and "Beatlemania Now" were selected from the most Elite Beatles Tribute Acts in the Country, to re-create The Beatles very 1st Concert in America (February 11, 1964), at the Washington Coliseum Arena in Washington, DC in honor of the occasions 50th Anniversary. In doing so Beatlemania Now followed Tommy Roe, the “Opener” from the original 1964 Concert, and performed to another “Sold-Out” crowd at the very same Washington Coliseum. The Event was covered by media world wide.
Scot's portrayal of John is so spot on that he was chosen and filmed against a green screen backdrop and used as the template for John Lennon in the 2009 official “The Beatles Rock Band” game.
Mitch has served as backing musician on Guitar or Drums for Chuck Berry, The Dovells, The Vibrations, Billy J. Kramer, Kevin Roth, Donna Loren, Ron Dante, Andy Kim, and Fran Smith Jr. of The Hooters, among others.
As a member and Music Director of the California hot rod band, "The Rip Chords", Mitch has shared stages with Al Jardine of The Beach Boys, Peter Noone, Spencer Davis, Tommy James, The Box Tops, The 1910 Fruitgum Co, Dennis Tufano of The Buckinghams, Mark Lindsay, and many others. Mitch had the honor of singing backup for Al Jardine at Town Hall in NYC, and, with "The Rip Chords" opened shows for Al on the West Coast and the East Coast.
Locally, Mitch's tenure as Drummer with "Pegasus", "Witness" & "The Pedestrians" is legendary in the Philadelphia area.
Mitch has released six solo albums. His solo music is featured in the film documentary "The Wages Of Spin-Part 2", and the short film, "Eli's Run", and he is included on Collectables Records' CD's "Garage Band Tribute To The Beatles" & "Garage Band Tribute To The Monkees", as well as three Beach Boys related Tribute albums released by Endless Summer Quarterly Magazine, a Beach Boys Fan Publication. Mitch has played on over 30 albums as a Producer or a Session musician.
As a 16 year old growing up in Illinois, Roger played drums with “The Illinois Country Opry" opening for countless Country artists including Merle Haggard, Jerry lee Lewis, Buck Owens, Carl Perkins and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
Two weeks following his 19th Birthday Roger was hired by Country singer Tommy Overstreet. and with his band embarked on a 49 State, 5 Country Tour ( USA, Canada, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands ). Upon his return he began doing ‘songwriter demos’ for various songwriters and publishing houses which led to recording sessions with Alabama, Bill Chinnock ( with whom he recorded an Emmy-winning theme song to NBC’s ‘Search For Tomorrow’) and opened shows for Hank Williams Jr, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Jesse Colin Young and Roger Daltrey.
Roger then joined Joanna “Dean” Jacobs on her Polydor records debut LP “Misbehavin”, and toured the Southern US, appeared at the Midfyns Festival in Denmark as well as the world famous Marquee Club in London. Along with the group Roger returned to the Recording Studio for a 2nd album, “Bad Romance”, filming several music videos which appeared on MTV.
Moving to Orlando, Roger spent a brief stint with a Show Band opening shows for the likes of Hal Ketcham, Dwight Yoakam and Emmylou Harris.
Moving to the Phila. area in 1989 Roger has been playing private events, clubs and recording with the likes of Iain Matthews, The Downtown Tangiers Band (w/Dan Federici and Garry Tallent of the E Street Band), as well as with Jim Boggia and The ToneBenders.
A multi-instrumentalist who is at home playing drums, guitar, bass guitar and keyboards, Chris studied at the Philadelphia Musical Academy. He then found himself writing songs, drumming and playing bass for original band “Vacuum Pact”, and later playing drums, and then keyboards, for “Pegasus” in rock clubs up and down the east coast.
Chris served as longtime Musical Director for the Philadelphia production of "Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding", the Off- Broadway farce that ran for over two decades.
Starting in 2011, he became associated with EBE agency bands performing for high-end private corporate events, as well as becoming a member of the "Flamin' Caucasins" some years after that.
Ron has been playing saxes and flute since his high school days. Experienced in many genres, he’s played standards with the gigging bands, Christopher Williams Orchestra (where he met LennonLive keyboardist Chris Moos) and Norristown based Jazz Foundation. He honed his funk chops with the Allen Reynolds’s band, and played alt-rock with the PreCoolers. Currently, in addition to having a blast with Imagine LennonLive and the Instant Karma Horns, he gets his jazz fix playing with the Perkasie Jazz Collective, and studying with D.C. area saxophonist, Jeff Antoniuk’s JazzWire.net. Ron resides in North Wales, PA.
Rob Carroll has been making a living as a professional musician for the last 35 years, singing, playing piano, saxophones, flute and clarinet. Rob has shared the stage with National Acts such as Eddie Money, The Bacon Brothers and Peaches & Herb, as well as with many of Philly’s favorite area Acts ( check back for more tidbits to follow ). Rob is a South Jersey native who has made DelCo, PA his home for the last 25 years.
Bill has played in, or served as, musical director in numerous stage productions, including The Wizard of Oz, Anything Goes, Camelot, The Music Man, Kiss Me Kate, Into the Woods, Hello, Dolly!, West Side Story, Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Leader of the Pack, and Shrek.
Bill's funk and soul styles were developed playing with such local Acts as Midnight Hour, Jazz Williams' Unique Review Band, JellyRoll, and X-Cluzive and the Soul Revival. Other local influences include The ChatterBand, The Rockets, The Heartbeats, Don't Call Me Francis, and Johnny O's Classic Dogs of Love, all of which have shared stage time to showcase Bill's talents.
More recently, Bill has performed with a number of high-profile artists, including Major Harris, Billy Paul, The Volcanos, The Original Blue Notes, Blue Magic and Grammy Award winner Peter Nero and the Philly Pops. Bill still performs regularly on trumpet and vocals with Grammy Award winners MFSB, The Trammps, and The Trammps featuring Earl Young.
